OLD PRINT (possibly a chalk lithograph) signed Heywood Hardy, 1880 in the
plate: It shows a young woman feeding an apple to her horse with two dogs
below. Great relief carved oak frame decorated with a recessed golden crop and
horseshoe at the top and the words "Thorough Bred" relief carved at the
bottom. There is a slight crack in the print itself at the top right corner.
It retains it's original wooden backing that is held in place by old,
seemingly undisturbed, wedge shaped tacks. 15" x 11 1/2"(image),frame is 24
1/2" x 21".
