5A STAFFORDSHIRE POT LID ENCASED IN AN ORNATE BAROMETER CASE: Under glaze color picture titled The Snow Drift. The image is one of a sheepdog that has come to the rescue of a ram buried in a drift, taken from the print entitled "The Rescue". The circular frame is a former barometer case carved in an oak leaf and acorn motif. 9 1/4" dia. (overall).

52 MONUMENTAL ROYAL VIENNA CHARGER CA. 1885: "Aligira nad Tirian", hand painted porcelain plaque, raised gold gilt accents, painting signed H. Stadler. Hans Johann Stadler, born in Germany in 1848, died in Vienna in 1916...a pupil of Hiltensperger, studied at the Academy Munchen. Worked for most of his life in Bamberg, Germany.
