22B IMPORTANT OIL OF FEMALE NUDE BATHERS: The signature is yet a mystery, but the fact remains that this is a superb oil, probably painted in the 1940's. It measures 39 1/2" x 32", and is signed lower left. The frame is of high quality craftsmanship, with a label affixed verso from the Paulo Barbieri Gallery, Sao Paulo, Brazil. 1,300
23 IMPORTANT HANDPAINTED PORCELAIN AND BRASS 3 TIER CADDY: The top is a porcelain lidded, wood lined box, with enameled porcelain sides, with a gold enameled framing to the top insert, which is a handpainted hunt scene. The two lower tiers are painted porcelain as well, with similar scenes, one with sheep grazing, the other with a hunter and his dog at rest. The brass supports are turned in design, ending in castors, while the top of the piece has brass finials. Probably done late 19th C., this piece is quite unique, and measures approx. 37" in height. Steynovitz studied at the Art School in Tel Aviv, The Royal Academy of London and is exhibited world wide. His works have been presented by official bodies to President Carter, Prime Minister Begin, Pope John Paul II and the Dalai Lama.
