1 A CHERRY DIMINUTIVE HIGH BOY CHEST: Queen Anne style. Superior, large dovetail construction. 30"h, 19 1/2"w., 2 drawers over 3 over 3.
2 GOUACHE PORTRAIT OF A GOLDEN RETRIEVER AND AN IRISH SETTER IN A LANDSCAPE: Circa 1920, 14 1/2" x 11", signed illegibly lower right Gaudier?.
2A EUROPEAN ICON WITH MADONNA AND CHILD: Encased in engraved cut out silver frame (assayed 800fine), probably 19th C, possibly earlier, probably Russian, O/B, silver casing also encased in carved gilt frame placed inside an elaborate rosewood ogee hinged shadowbox. This pieces is of exceptional detail. Painting 5 1/2" x 4 1/4", overall 9" x 8 1/2".
3 LATE 19TH C BRITISH CRANBERRY ART GLASS EPERGNE: A ruffle edge bowl with 3 lilies or horns. Applied clear decoration. Most probably Stevens & Williams or Thomas Webb. 21"h. Bowl is approx. 9 1/2" dia.
3A VICTORIAN SILVER PLATE REVOLVING BUTTER DISH BY MERIDEN BRITANNIA CO: Ornate American Victorian pedestaled butter dish with lovely floral and foliate open work to handle and base, detailed bands of embossed floral, foliate and birds to stand and rim, lid decorated with fruiting branches, dual knife rests and unusual spikes attached to chains to keep the lid in place, no insert, 12 1/2"h., marked Meriden B. Company in circle around scales, Quadruple Plate (dating this piece to pre 1896) and 4996, monogrammed MLW? to top of lid.
4 HUDSON RIVER O/C LANDSCAPE WITH CATTLE BY A STREAM: Circa 1910, 10" x 7 3/4", signed lower right Marx?
4A COMBS, A., (American, 20th C): "Voorlezer House - Richmond Town, Staten Island", the oldest surviving elementary school building in the United States, Gouache, 5" x 7", SLR, titled verso.
4B OLDER ORIENTAL SPICE/APOTHECARY CHEST: 18 drawers and double doors, brass mounts. Letter characters on each of the drawers and the back is covered in hand written recipes. 29 1/2"x 16 1/2".

12A 4 PIECE ITALIAN FILAGREE DRESSER SET- MIRROR TRAY, 2 PERFUME BOTTLES AND DRESSER BOX: 24" mirror tray framed in filagree metal. The bottles and box are angular amber glass enhanced with gilt filagree. Ca. 1950's.
12B PAIR OF OAK SAVONAROLA CHAIRS: Applied foliate, shell and scroll decoration to back and apron, carved griffin heads to upper supports, front legs ending in hairy paw feet, turned side stretchers, circa 1880.

18 BRISCOE, Franklin Dullin, (American, 1844-1903): "Calm, Foggy Morning on the Harbor", O/C, 5 1/8" x 9", signed lower right. Scene depicts men in fishing boats, probably European scene but possibly American. Condition - Several spots of paint loss in left margin, lower left corner and in boat, scuffing, craquelier throughout. In need of minor restoration and cleaning.
18A "HAYSTACKS ON THE SALT MARSH", LATE 19TH C W/C: 4 1/4" x 8", no visible signature, artist unknown, in the style of Heade, encased in gilded oak frame.

24   LADY'S DIAMOND DRESS WATCH: Totally encrusted with diamonds and accented by twin wedges of faceted sapphires, inside back case marked "Platinum 117", on matching diamond link band, clasp marked 14k. Watch works marked "C&E Marshall Co Fifteen (15) Jewel Two (2) Adj Swiss Model B-3", currently keeping time.
24A   LADY'S DIAMOND & SAPPHIRE DRESS WATCH: Platinum and 18k white gold case rimmed in diamonds with sapphires at noon, three, six and nine, inside back marked "Platinum Top 18K 9", works marked "Abra Watch Co Swiss Seventeen17Jewels Two2Adjustments", sapphire crown, currently keeping time.
25   IMPRESSIVE GLASS TOP TABLE AND 4 CHAIRS: Heavy, ornately carved chairs and open pedestal style table base in an acanthus leaf design, chairs with carved wreath to backs, brocade style upholstery, 5' x 1/2" thick double beveled glass top, 30"h., of contemporary manufacture.
25A STERLING COCKTAIL SHAKER BY MACIEL: Center band of embossed floral motif, strainer to spout, ice compartment to lid, marked to base "Maciel Sterling Made in Mexico 0.925", small dent just below floral band, approx. 43oz!
25B   ANTIQUE CHERRY QUEEN ANNE DROPLEAF TABLE: Rectangular top with 2 drop leaves to form a table top 49" x 45". Swing legs support leaves, straight legs on simple pad feet.
25C 19TH C INLAID GAME TABLE: Game board top table on turned legs and double stretches. Mixed woods, 26" x 36".
26 MONROE, C.E. Jr, (American, 20th C): Illustration of bass after a lure, O/B, 9" x 22 1/2", signed lower left, of exceptional quality, shows both striped, large, and smallmouth bass in natural habitat. Monroe was member of The Society of Animal Artists, receiving the Award of Excellence (1979,1980), along with several other noted animal illustrators, such as Robert Bateman and Robert Kuhn. Monroe was also known for illustrating several Edgar Rice Burroughs books, as well as Colliers magazine.
26A AMERICAN OAK SIDE BY SIDE SIDEBOARD: Serpentine and curved drawers to cabinet with heavily carved center drawer in a griffin motif, flanked by "S" curved doors, all under the original beveled mirror held by pierce carved supports and topped by double carved griffins, fronted on one side by small shelf held aloft by carved griffin head and paw, beside the bowed front curio with glass door and sides, four adjustable oak shelves, original backsplash (with small section of damage at corner) and finish, three front legs ending in paw feet, 69"h. x 53 1/2"w. x approx. 22 1/2"d.

Verne, (American, 1889): "The Brook", O/B, 16" x 12", signed lower right, dated 1920, titled verso, exhibited in 1920 at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, label affixed verso along with rubber stamp markings, Sept 11, 1920. This is an exceptional example of the work of this early Michigan artist.
30A CIPRIANI, A, (Italian, 19th/20th C.): Bust of young woman wearing a lace hat, alabaster, 25 1/2"h. with pedestal, signed verso. Condition - Has had repair to lace work on right side of hat and corsage. Est. $500/700**

31B OPAL DOUBLET ENHANCER PENDANT: This unique Australian opal doublet is full of pinpoint fiery flashes of blue and green, accented by diamonds and finished with a hinged double locking enhancer bail that can accommodate a 4mm chain or up to 7mm pearls. Retail $929.

While the colors are mixed the predominate color is a dark tone with a few well placed light pearls. They are round and so lustrous you can see yourself in them.
