Condition - 1 1/2'' tear in upper margin, several small pinhole type depressions and some stretcher bar wear in lower left corner, craquelure in upper half of painting, needs cleaning. MacDonall studied at the St. Louis School of Fine Arts, member of the Chicago Watercolor Society, exhibited at the Art Inst. of Chicago, one of the first artist in the colony in Westport, illustrated for most of the national magazines - most notable being Life.
