Also inscribed on the left side is the quote ''One ink drop on a solitary thought hath moved the mind of millions''. Quote on the right side reads ''Kind hearts are more than coronets and simple faith more than Norman Blood''. In each corner is the likeness of a calling card embellished with birds, upper left card honors R.B.Hayes, upper right card honors J.A.Garfield, lower left card pays tribute to D.T.Ames and the lower right card pays tribute to P.R.Spencer.
