BAUTTE & Cie OPEN FACE 18K POCKET WATCH: Lovely little gold pocket watch, approx. 33mm, circa 1850-1860, works marked only with an F, case marked with winged horse stamp, & #95894 several places, RB in a circle to inside back, outside of dust cover marked Rossel & Fils J.F. Bautte & Cie Geneve etc. Back decorated with applied stylized monogram, lever set works seem to be keeping time. All clocks and watches are sold as not working, due to their delicate nature, even though they may be working just fine. White enamel dial with gold hands, black Roman numerals and gold Arabic second count. Gold content determined by acid test. Currently as a pendant on an 18k gold chain, approx. 26'' and 12.5 grams.

All clocks and watches are sold as not working, due to their delicate nature, even though they may be working just fine.
