CIVIL WAR ERA BRITISH INFANTRY SWORD & SCABBARD: Ornate brass guard, pommel and backstrap. Original sharkskin wrap and original wire grip. 32 1/4'' blade has minor areas of age staining and peppering, balance mirror bright. Etched British military design in panel on either side. Unmarked to maker. Scabbard is excellent with no dents or dings, one tiny spot of original nickel lose. Dates 1850's-1870's.
