IMPORTANT PHOTO ALBUM- ''BLIND'' JOHN CONDON OF CHICAGO FAMILY PHOTO ALBUM: Turn of the century album containing 48 photographs of the notorious ''Blind'' John Condon family home interiors at 2623 Michigan Ave in Chicago, IL. Condon was a noted gambler and owner of the Harlem Jockey Club. This house survived a bombing with intent to kill Condon in 1909. Photo's of all the rooms in the historic house, including some with pictures of his children and their toys. We believe the photo's were taken for insurance purposes. Measures 15 1/2'' x 11 1/4'' x 2 1/2''. Provenance- direct descendant of family.
