196 | BEADED HIDE NATIVE AMERICAN SHIRT & LEGGINGS: Turn of the century or later Plains Indian hide with geometric green and yellow bead strands affixed to black cloth on both shirt and leggings. Shirt also had circular beaded design with shell and horsehair accents. Sleeves are adorned with 13 long tailed weasel pelts. Missing one pelt, some beads loose, missing. Cloth collar with one horsehair accent piece (other piece missing) and does not appear to be original to piece. Note hide has dried, stiff, stains and has hole. Leggings have yellow and green bands on cloth with horsehair and weasel pelt accents as well. Leggings are 2 separate pieces. Hide is softer on leggings, note stains.
