Brass hilt with sharkskin grip, note areas of wear on grip, loose area of twist wire. Still retains original leather washer. Straight blade show age staining, no rust, measures 28 3/8'' long. Leather scabbard with brass mounts intact. Note wear and bend line. Sword was reputedly taken from a Austro-Hungarian gunboat in Italy during WWI by Seaman Warren G. Addison. Overall length 36''. 225
