Alcar, his personal master, had been a famous and well known painter of art during his last life on earth. By training and developing Jozef's medium-ship Alcar brought the trance by him to such a high level that masters of the other side could take over his physical organism. This enabled them to let a number of painters who had passed over to the other side many years before, to give evidence of their existence and that their talents were still there.
