INDO-PERSIAN HAND KNOTTED WOOL RUG, 5'10'' x 9': This rug has an overall pattern of realistically drawn clusters of roses linked by vines on a midnight blue field. It is like an antique Veramin (Persian city rug), but is a modern rug. The whole design is very pleasing with the field being bordered by a white ground main border edged by two guard borders on each side. The colors used throughout the rug are complimentary to each other so the overall effect makes for a beautiful rug. There are a few minor stains that are not highly visible.
