251 Click for larger picture CIVIL WAR LETTERS HOME KIA 154TH NEW YORK: Collection of 5 letters home from Oscar M. Taylor and Elias W. Skinner, both of the 154th New York ''Hard Tack'' Regiment Company E. Oscar Taylor was captured July 1, 1863 and subsequently died of disease in prison camp. 4 of the letters have been transcribed, special note of letter dated May 9 1863 from Oscar with loads of Chancellorsville accounts. Also included is ''Brothers One and All'' signed first edition book by Mark H. Dunkelman. It recounts the 154th Regiment. Also a hand written poem dated 1864. 400
252 Click for larger picture 1846 EUROPEAN PERCUSSION PISTOL: Most likely from Belgium or Germany, proof mark with crown over K and dated 1846 on both barrel and lock. All matching serial number 541. K and 541 cartouch on stock as well. Action works fine. Dark plum metal patina. Large caliber barrel 10 1/4'' l., overall 16 1/2'' l.
CONDITION: Note scratches on barrel and wood, some newer than others.

253 Click for larger picture ANTIQUE CAST IRON SIGNAL CANNON: In as found condition complete with mounts. Nearly illegible metal tag reading ??? & Sons Builders New York. Also sold with 2 cast iron cannon balls for a different size cannon. Measures 13 1/2'' x 40 1/2'' x 11 1/4''. Extremely heavy.
CONDITION: Note cannon has been subject to the elements for at least 40 years, rusted throughout. Any attempt to fire cannon would most likely result in explosion and loss of life.
