201 Click for larger picture GILT MOLDED COPPER EAGLE WEATHERVANE: From a historic estate, originally located on a large house in Manchester-By-The-Sea, Mass., this eagle was moved in the 1950's and perched on a bluff at Lobster Cove, Mass. Exceptionally large eagle over sphere, all over fixed base. Approx. 32'' h. x 43'' x 17 1/2''. Sold with photograph, provided by the consignor and handed down through the family, of an eagle overlooking cliff at Lobster Cove.
CONDITION: Note loss of and tarnish over gilt / gold paint, some splits to seams, eagle has been converted to fixed base.

206 Click for larger picture YAGER, Rick, (American, 1909-1995): Original Buck Rogers daily strip art from 8-6-1949 and part of the ''Lost Planet of Thor'' series. This is the first year Yager's name appeared by itself on the strip, previously his work had been as a ''ghost'' artist and continued working on the strip until 1958. Strip has faded artist notes on upper section. Strip measures 17'' x 5 5/8''.
CONDITION: Note toning and spotting to paper.

Included is the 1975 receipt for refinishing, knobs, and adding the castors.

239 Click for larger picture INDO PERSIAN MODERN HAND KNOTTED WOOL ROOM SIZE RUG, 7' 5'' x 10' 4'': This rug has a central medallion that uses all the colors that are found in the rest of the rug. Red rust, turquoise, ivory surrounded by a deep blue edging that makes the medallion pop! The medallion is on a red rust field that has ivory corners. The rest of the field has sprays of flowers as well as four paisley like motifs around the medallion. The main border has the same deep blue ground covered with leaves and vines. There is a signature cartouche on the edge of the last border in the middle of one end. Condition is very good. 1300
