201 | JAPANESE KOTO/SHINTO ANCESTRAL BLADE KATANA SWORD: Circa 1550-1610 Late Koto to early Shinto unsigned hand forged 26'' blade with Kai Gunto naval mounts. These blades were handed down through the family over generations and remounted with the appropriate mounts for the time period. Foliate / floral kashira, menuki and fuchi. Dark rayskin same, cloth ito. Sold with tassel. Overall 38'' long. CONDITION: Blade does show some minor imperfection from age. |

Material running down the center of the outside top of helmet to accommodate the 3 point oxygen mask; which is top fastened.
