CONDITION: Condition good with slight staining to corner.

The main field of the rug has an ivory ground with an overall lattice design. The main border of the rug has various shades of blue, rust and ivory and is framed by small rust colored guard borders on either side. The almost square size of the rug makes it more desirable. 238A Click for larger picture MODERN INDO-PERSIAN HAND KNOTTED WOOL RUG, 6' 2'' x 9': This nice sized rug has a light colored field, ivory in the center and beige in the corners with a deep blue diamond shaped medallion in the center of the rug. Over all the field are vines that connect flowers and leaves done in colors of pale green, beige, blue, rust, and black. The dark colored ground of the main border matches the colors of the medallion and nicely frame the rest of the rug.
CONDITION: Rug is lightly soiled but will probably clean up well.

240A Click for larger picture SEMI-ANTIQUE TURKESTAN BOKHARA HAND KNOTTED WOOL RUG, 4' x 5' 8'': This extremely finely knotted rug employs the traditional colors and designs of a Bokhara including the alternating rows of different shaped guls and the eleven mostly narrow borders all with a red background. There is also an ''apron'' or extra border found at each end of the rug. These are very masculine rugs that would go well in a study or den. The fringes have been professionally redone, otherwise condition is good. 250

242 Click for larger picture MODERN CHINESE HAND HOOKED WOOL RUG, 5' 6'' x 8' 5'': This hand hooked rug has a French Aubusson design and was made using a lovely color palette that includes pale green, a soft red, a peachy red, beige, ivory, and brown. The rounded central medallion goes into the border of the rug on the sides and the ends with sprays of flowers or smaller medallions. This broken border pulls the whole rug together and makes for an attractive piece of art that you can walk on. Condition is good. 350

The rugs' pile has a lustrous sheen that adds to the look of the rugs. The simplicity of the design added to the solid color makes these rugs that could fit in to any decor.
CONDITION: Condition is good on one and some staining visible on the other.
