'SILLON LEDA'' BRASS CHAIR DESIGNED BY SALVADOR DALI: In the 1990s a group of experts, led by Oscar Tusquets, set themselves the task of turning the furniture Dali had drawn for Jean-Michel Frank into reality. Amongst these items were the Leda chair and low table, taken from the painting ''Femme … la tete rose'' (1935). The prototypes were made by the sculptor Joaquim Camps and B.D. Barcelona design organised the production and exclusive world marketing, manufactured and sold by Barcelona Design, this is numbered on the plaque under the seat 028.
CONDITION: Several smaller areas of lacquer wear causing green spots; obviously can be polished and resealed.
