The flowers make up medallions that are hard to distinguish from the rest of the design and the colors and motifs flow into the borders as well. Condition is good with slight overall wear. | 200 | |

Brunin'', Oil/Board, 23 3/4'' x 15 3/4'', signed illegibly, burl wood frame with wear, 26'' x 18 1/2''. Poitevin was a noted French aeronaut, known for flying animals with hot air balloons, but was ordered to desist when it was deemed cruelty to animals.
