PAIR OF THOMIRE BRONZE EAGLE BOOKENDS: Acquired from Cooper-Williams, Inc., Madison Ave., NYC in 1926, original letter of documentation included, the Eagle is approximately 6 1/2'' h., x 9 1/2'' w., affixed to polished and beveled marble plinths, showing some age, wear, repair, cracks, and chips, overall height is roughly 8'', these are not signed but are almost exactly like a pair being offered online purportedly from the original Arc de Triomphe lamp posts, which the accompanying paperwork from Cooper Williams substantiates.
CONDITION: Obvious damage to plinths, stress crack in the shoulder of one of the eagles, does not appear to affect the structural integrity.
