1429A Click for larger picture ANTIQUE KURDISH-PERSIAN FLAT WEAVE WOOL RUG, 4' 6'' x 6' 11'': This banded striped rug is reminiscing of Joseph's coat of many colors. Many of the bands colors are probably natural wool colors like the white, ivory, beige, and brown stripes. These are interspersed with blue, red, black and yellow bands or stripes and further ornamented with small geometric motifs to enliven the rug. At each end are found brown-black bands with a red and white design that goes across the width of the rug.
CONDITION: Rug is worn with areas of loss on edges and in some of the bands of color.

1431 Click for larger picture SEMI-ANTIQUE PAKISTANI-BOKHARA HAND KNOTTED WOOL RUG, 4' 2'' x 6' 5'': This rug has a variation from the typical Bokhara rug both in its design and its colors. There are two rows of eight ''guls'' on a yellow-gold ground that are separated by a grid formed around the other diamond shaped ''guls'' that usually stand alone. The black, pale pink, and pale blue used in the grid are the same colors found in the multiple small borders that complete the rug. Condition is good. 400

1450 Click for larger picture SEMI-ANTIQUE CHINESE HAND KNOTTED WOOL RUG, 3' 3'' x 5' 8'': This interesting rug has an ivory and blue lattice work design covering the main field of the rug with a small square dark blue medallion that has five bats around a Chinese symbol. The balance of the rug has two toned blue designs.
CONDITION: This rug has had some professional repairs and needs a little more work but is still a good looking rug.
