APPROX. 15-25 YR OLD FLAT WEAVE RUG, 2'7'' x 6'2'': This rug has a green field with two black bands edged with black, red, and white stripes. On the bands are rows of saw tooth edged almost pinecone motifs. In between the bands rows of simple even sided crosses and saw tooth edged diamonds rest on the green field. There are black and white borders at either end of the rug. The finish of the rug is like a Navajo but the colors look more like Mexican Indian expression and it is probably Mexican in origin.
