The case with a two tone white and yellow gold woven effect that coordinates with the two tone chain and fob. Dial with stick numerals and secondary dial, movement in working order. Fob set with carnelian cabochons. Watch measure approx. 37mm., double strand chain 9'' long. TOTAL weight of watch, chain and fob 104.6 grams. Assays 14K gold.

Tolkas, 1959 in one of her very expensive hats, framed under glass, as well as various photographs of Alice B. Toklas, Gertrude Stein, & Friends w/negatives; 3) Tea with Alice, a booklet (New York, Christmas, 1978, copyright by Robert A. Wilson, Stein's official bibliographer and owner of the famous Phoenix bookshop in the West Village), includes a 8 x 10, black & white photograph of Toklas, taken during his visit with her in Paris in 1965. The paper-back booklet is 5 x 8, 9 pages, it was printed as an edition of 250 copies as a holiday greeting, ''none is for sale''; 4) A printed invitation, in French handwritten name Monsieur J. Arnold Weissberger, to attend an homage to Gertrude Stein ''en presence de Miss Alice B. Toklas'', on verso in pencil ''written by Alice B. Vollmann ''Riding Toward Everywhere'', First Edition, 2008 with hand-written notations from the author addressed to Bill Plumley; ''Rising Up and Rising Down, Some Thoughts on Violence, Freedom, and Urgent Means'', by William T. Vollmann, 2004 Harper Perennial along with an Uncorrected Proof marked ''Not for Sale'', signed by the Author with Drawing; Collection of Correspondence from William Vollmann beginning on June 15, 1996 through April 15, 2008 which illustrates the initial ''rocky'' start of the relationship between Vollmann & Plumley wherein Vollmann seems to chastise Plumley for misspelling his name and for his unfamiliarity of his works. Continued correspondence between the gentlemen illustrates a mutual understanding and growing friendship as evidenced by the fact that Mr. Plumley obtained copies of the John Brown letters from the West Virginia State Archives, Boyd B. Stutler Collection for Mr. Vollmann's use in finalizing ''Rising Up and Rising Down, a 16 year effort. William Tanner Vollmann (born July 28, 1959) is an American novelist, journalist, war correspondent, short story writer, and essayist. He won the 2005 National Book Award for Fiction for the novel ''Europe Central''.
CONDITION: Books are in good condition with corner bends to jacket covers.
