Base, accented with bronze flora adornment, is plaster carved and color washed to appear as marble. 13 1/2''h. x 13''w. x 6''d. Lot 412 tag on bottom for Christie's London auction Nov 10, 2000, sold for $5048.
CONDITION: Some wear to patina.

Possibly William Edward Norton, but we have been unable to match this signature with known Norton signatures, and he is mostly known for marine scenes.
CONDITION: Relined with some scattered inpaint, several minor abrasions.
