1101 | EDMOND RIGOT CAMEO GLASS LANDSCAPE VASE: In the Galle style, pink ground with green scenic river landscape, signed ''L'Art de la Sarre'' and monogrammed ER (Edmond Rigot). Overall measures 11 3/4'' h. x 5 1/2''. Edmund Rigot (1885-1924) worked at the Saint Louis Crystal until 1918. He was then employed by Villeroy & Boch (Germany) producing models of vases in late Art Nouveau style in the manner of School Nancy. Rigot corroborated with Paul Nicolas (Emile Galle) and developed d'Argenthal Glass. | 650 | |

There is a large oval central medallion with a white and beige ground with pale green, pink, and blue flowers. There are four smaller oval medallions and the four corners of the wide white and beige broken border that match the central medallion around the deep green colored field. The scrolling large leaves and vines with flowers that cover the dark green field carry on the ''French'' feel of the design of this rug.
