1469 | APPROX 20-30 YR OLD AFGHAN BELOUCHI HAND KNOTTED WOOL RUG, 2'7'' x 4'6'': This Belouchi rug has an interesting vertical alignment of the various motifs used in the making of this rug. The rows of geometrically shaped motifs are all done in the same colors of beige, blue, and black on a rust field. The tiny amount of white found in the rug is in keeping with Belouchi weaving. Traditionally the Belouchi have fewer white sheep and that is the reason their rugs have a darker palette. Condition is good. | 125 | |
