1138 | SEMI-ANTIQUE PERSIAN SAROUK HAND KNOTTED WOOL RUG, 3'5'' x 5': This lovely Persian Sarouk was woven in a traditional design and colors. The salmon red of the field is covered with branches of flowers, some grow from vases at the center of each end of the field and others are placed around the central small medallion that is in itself another spray of flowers and leaves. The midnight blue main border has a design of palmettes alternating with leaves. CONDITION: There is some visible wear and the fringes are basically gone but this is still a good rug. Sold as is. |
