Around and inside the central field are found clusters or sprays of realistically drawn flowers, roses and others done in soft pinks, reds, blues, beige , green and ivory. The four corners of the rug have oval panels with more flowers and pale blue ribbons at top and bottom. The ivory border is ''stepped'' or ''broken'' coming in and out if the field. The outline of the niche is formed by an ivory band with diamonds and an outer blue running dog or latch hook pattern. The main border has an interesting design composed of four serrated leaves that come together to form a flower.
