1201 Click for larger picture US SPRINGFIELD REMINGTON MODEL 1871 ROLLING BLOCK RIFLE: Produced by Springfield Armory under agreement with Remington, dated 1872. .50/70 center fire caliber round barrel, nice bore. Walnut stocks with inspector cartouche either side. Marked US Springfield, 1872 under eagle on lockplate, Model 1871 left side, Remington's patent information on tang. Stamped US, D?, 2, 7 on top butt plate. Action currently works fine. Overall 52'' long.

1207 Click for larger picture LEWIS PRAHL PHILADELPHIA EAGLEHEAD SWORD: Circa 1785-1805, a rare example of an early American swordsmith, all brass hilt with eaglehead pommel attributed to Lewis Prahl of Philadelphia. Unmarked example and several other Philadelphia makers of this period made similar style swords. Horseman's saber slightly curved blade with double fullers, 29'' long, overall 34 1/4'' long.
CONDITION: Age staining and slight peppering to blade.

1208 Click for larger picture BACON, IRVING LEWIS, (American, 1853-1910): Tabletop still life with roses, several vases to include an English porcelain lidded tureen, German stoneware vase, and an oriental motif flower pot, Oil/Canvas, 27'' x 36'', signed lower right IL Bacon and dated 1892, encased in heavy gilded and carved custom frame, 38'' x 46'' x 3''.
CONDITION: Frame does have wear and some gilt loss but good overall, the picture has been relined, several scattered touches of inpaint, scattered craquelure throughout. Sold as is.

OLD PAKISTANI-BOKHARA HAND KNOTTED WOOL AND COTTON RUG, 3'2'' x 5'3'': This Pak Bokhara has a traditional central design but has a more neutral palette than is usual for these rugs. The pale grey field has staggered rows of the same design ''gul'' done in grey, black, pale yellow, and white. Multiple guard borders surround a main border that consists of alternating color blocks with a single simple motif in the center of each one. Condition is good. 125

R.. Tradition holds this hat was presented to Dean Rusk, Secretary of State for John F. Kennedy and Lyndon B. Johnson, by President Johnson. Size 7 5/8. With the original hard travel case, measures 8 1/4'' h. x 15'' x 16 1/4''.
CONDITION: Hat in fine condition, case shows mildew.

OLD CHINESE HAND KNOTTED WOOL RUG, 8'11'' x 11'8'': This rug has traditional colors and design with a blue field whose surface has only a few floral sprays scattered here and there. Around the edge of the field vines with leaves and flowers escape from the main borders design and creep onto the field passing the solid ivory guard border. This type of rug goes well with many decorating styles.
CONDITION: There are some areas of visible wear and the fringes are gone but the rug is still intact.

OLD PERSIAN OR INDO-PERSIAN HAND KNOTTED WOOL RUG, 5'2'' x 8'3'': This is a beautiful rug with a jewel like deep blue center ground surrounded by a white outer field. The inner blue field is covered with a design of large palmettes, flower heads, and leaves linked by a system of vines. The outer white field has a delicate tracery design interspersed with fantastically colored animals including hot pink and orange tigers and pale pink and blue gazelles! The borders also contain many depictions of birds and animals intertwined in the floral motifs. This is a very striking rug that would be a real conversation piece in any home. Condition is good. 650
