Lichtenstein was an influential pop artist of the 60s. His pieces were heavily influenced by popular advertising and comic strips for which he was, initially, heavily criticized. His most noted works include ''Whaam!'', ''Drowning Girl'', and ''Nurse''. His first one man show at the Castelli Gallery in NY in 1962 was bought by prominent private collectors before the show opened.
CONDITION: Minor handling crease in lower left margin, under plexiglass which has a couple of abrasions, margins exhibit slight undulation, but no evidence of moisture damage, reverse taped to mat verso with acid free, frame shows minor wear, sold as is.
