APPROX. 35-45 YR OLD PERSIAN ''KASHMAR'' KHORRASAN HAND KNOTTED WOOL RUG, 9'11'' x 12'11'': A round central medallion that looks like a kaleidoscope with concentric circles with different designs and colors ending in small pendants radiating out at the edges is the centerpiece of this rug. The four corners of the field are like quarters if the central medallion in color and design. Over the rest of the midnight blue field are a multitude of flower heads and palmettes that are linked by white outlined vines. The white really stands out and accents the whole design of the field. A similar effect is found in the main border of the rug.
CONDITION: There is some wear on the side selvedges but otherwise good condition.
