APPROX. 40-65 YR OLD PERSIAN HAND KNOTTED WOOL ROOM SIZE RUG, 8'11'' x 11'6'': This is a Lillihan or Ingeles Persian with a Sarouk design. The deep salmon colored field has lots of abrash, or color change that adds to the interest of the rug. A lobed central medallion is done in colors of pale green, red, blue, black, white and brown as are the four corners of the field. Clusters and sprays of flowers cover the rest of the field. Condition is good for its age.
