HEAVILY EMBOSSED VICTORIAN BRONZE 5 LIGHT CHANDELIER: From the NY Mansion of Lt. Governor Edward Schoeneck Ca 1915-18. 5 bell shaped lights made of curled acanthus leaves, four of which suspend from Art Nouveau curled arms sheathed in wrapped acanthus and other embellishments. One light suspends from the center, the four connected by bands of embossed laurel bundled as fasces with rose clusters in the center. The top has a crown and a large oval wreath wrapped in ribbons. Each bell light has 12 smoke colored prisms (60 total). Fully functional. Rewired, polished and lacquered in the 1970s. Overall including prisms measures 26'' h. x 20'' dia., 20'' h. excluding prisms.
