APPROX.20-40 YR OLD SINO-PERSIAN HAND KNOTTED WOOL RUG, 3' x 5'3'': This lovely rug has a classical Persian prayer rug design. The white ground has an elaborate tall vase that has a variety of flowers that make a large bouquet that fills the center of the field. At the base of the field are six deer standing on rocks. Behind them spring up other flowering vines that fill in the sides of the field. There are pairs of birds perched here and there throughout the field and in the main red ground border. This is a pretty rug with lots of detail. Condition is good.
