CONDITION: Several hairlines and minor chips to dial. Currently running however not guaranteed to continue. Key and pendulum in office.

1044A Click for larger picture SEMI-ANTIQUE PERSIAN HERIZ HAND KNOTTED WOOL RUG, 8' 8'' X 12' 2'': A good example of a traditional Heriz, the colors and design elements are a cross between geometric and curvilinear shapes. The large central medallion with spandrels on either end rests on a red/rust field with stepped corners. The corners are gold and red/rust and a wide white band frames the center. The main border is a deep blue with more traditional motifs. Heriz rugs continue to be popular with decorators and home owners.
