APPROX. 20-35 YR. OLD PERSIAN BELOUCHI HAND KNOTTED WOOL RUG, 4'11'' x 9': This rug has the traditional colors of Belouchis. Having mostly dark wool sheep there rugs are also dark. This rug has eight rectangular panels in orange and rust on a dark blue field. The Belouchis sparing use of white is seen in this rug in the two ''running dog'' borders that outline and frame the central design of the rug. This is a nice example of this type of rug in a larger size than is usual.
CONDITION: There is a slight stain near one corner of the rug, otherwise good condition.
