1001 Click for larger picture CONTINENTAL SILVER ENAMEL AND JEWELED TROIKA SLEIGH: Circa late 19th to early 20th century, most likely Eastern European manufacturer for the Russian market. Unmarked as to maker, reticulated and engraved with applied enamel, bejeweled in cabochon and seed pearls, traces of vermeil remain. Fine attention to detail on the coach, putti and horses. Measures 7 1/4'' h. x 13 1/4'' x 5''. Affixed to black lacquer base 1 1/4'' h. x 17 1/4'' x 8''.
CONDITION: Wear to vermeil.

1050 Click for larger picture APPROX 75-95 YR OLD CHINESE HAND KNOTTED WOOL RUG, 10'3'' x 13'5'': This Deco era Chinese rug has a beige mink colored field with a small blue round central medallion and blue main borders. The birds and branches of flowering plants, the vases in the field and border are tinted in shades not generally found in nature - for example, purple and blue leaves. This is a beautiful old rug.
CONDITION: There are some old small repairs and a couple of places that need attention, but these don't detract from the beauty of the rug.
