With an MFA from Accademi De Belle Arti in Perugia, Italy, Abrishami has fulfilled his childhood obsession with becoming a painter. At just 19 years of age he received first place at the ''Iranian New Artists Competition''. He now resides in Los Angeles California where he continues to find inspiration to expand his horizons in his work.
