MACK, Bill (American, 1949-): ''Rapture'', Bonded Sand, First Casting Taken from the Mold, Approx. 46'' x 37'', original painted white frame, 57.5'' x 48'', signed lower left, marked ''TP''. Bill Mack is in a league of his own as he has created his own form of sculpture. With a humble start as a commissioned artist, he did work for companies such as GM, 3M and Pillsbury, as well as medallic works for Maryland and Minnesota. In the 1980's, Mack finally had his debut in New York City and found a quick ride to worldwide fame.
CONDITION: Splattered house paint on the frame in the upper portion, several minor abrasions on the frame, sculpture has some mild discoloration, sold as is. Shippers, please note the weight is approx. 95 lbs.
