18TH CENTURY HENRY BUXTON ENGLISH LONG CASE CLOCK: Circa mid 18th century, profusely carved all over front. Bonnet with foliate scroll crest, 3/4 columns, and arrowhead designs. Body with stylized figures and foliate motifs. Engraved brass dial with applied decoration at corners, signed Henry Buxton. Buxton operated from 1748-1775 in Wolverhampton, England. Time and bell strike movement, overall measures 86'' h. x 17 1/2'' x 9 3/4''.
CONDITION: Age separation at base, other wear consistent with age. Currently running however not guaranteed to continue.
