APPROX20-40 YR OLD INDO-PERSIAN HAND KNOTTED WOOL RUG, 5'11'' X 8'6'': This good-looking rug has a combination of Persian and Caucasian designs. The central field design looks like rugs woven in the Shiraz or Quashqui Persians. The midnight blue field, the red/orange and white central medallion, and the white smaller medallions at each end of the main medallion are all part of their traditional designs. However, the serrated leaf and wine glass design found in the border is usually found in rugs from the Caucasus region. The colors and designs work together to make an attractive rug.
CONDITION: This rug is in good condition.
