MCGARY, Dave, (American, 1958-2013): ''Strong Hearts'', Young Indian Mother with Child at Her Side with Another Child Strapped to Her Back in a Backpack, Masterworks Edition Bronze, 38'' H, signed and numbered 27/30. Dave McGary is known for his sculpture of the Native American culture. In March of 1997, Dave premiered Strong Hearts, the first bronze in a series of Native American women. Strong Hearts portrays a Sioux Mother with her baby son in a beaded cradle board on her back and her young daughter at her side.
