SEMI-ANTIQUE PERSIAN HAND KNOTTED WOOL RUG, 4'7'' X 7'2'': This Persian has a fine weave combined with a good floral design. The ivory field has a red ground central medallion with a beige and black outline and spandrels at each end. Surrounding the medallion are sprays of flowers carefully placed to create a design that is continued with more flowers coming into the field from the pale blue inner border. SEMI-ANTIQUE PERSIAN HAND KNOTTED WOOL RUG,3'3'' X 6'7'': This rug has a bold dramatic look due to the vibrant colors and the interesting design. The center of the field is dominated by a salmon pink rectangular shaped medallion whose color matches the triangles at the side edges of the field. Inside the medallion are other progressively smaller different colored and shaped medallions in colors that include red, white, pale green, black, and blue. The deep blue field is further covered by totally different geometric shaped motifs that fill in each end of the field. Lastly there are two narrow borders. CONDITION: There is some color run and the fringe is very low. |
