APPROX 20-40 YR OLD PERSIAN HAND KNOTTED WOOL RUG, 5' X 8'8'': This village workshop rug has a red and lavender central medallion and quarter medallions in the corners of the field. The rest of the field goes from a deep blue in one end to a more purple blue at the other. This kind of color change, or abrash is not unusual and doesn't detract from the charm of the rug. The field is covered with a variant of the ''Herati '' pattern done in colors that include red, pale gold, white, and aqua/green. CONDITION: Condition is good with some signs of wear. |
