APPROX 30-40 YR OLD PERSIAN MESHED HAND KNOTTED WOOL RUG, 6'9'' X 9'7'': This rug has a medium blue and rust lobed diamond shaped medallion within a lobed round medallion, dark blue outlined by white and red. Extended spandrels are found at either end of the medallion. The red ground of the field also has palmettes, flowers, and large leaves linked by vines. The dark blue and rust corners of the field blend in with the borders of the rug in design and color.
