W. WOOD ENGLISH MAHOGANY TALL CASE CLOCK: Early to mid 19th century, mahogany veneer case, bonnet with broken arch pediment, brass finials, fluted columns. Waist with inlaid paterae over shaped door, fluted half columns. Base with canted corners, parquetry inlay, bracket feet. Painted metal dial with second hand and date aperture, painted maiden spandrels, marked W. Wood, MacClesfield. Overall measures 89 1/2'' h. x 22'' x 10''.
