1127 | ANTIQUE KURDISH PERSIAN HAND KNOTTED WOOL RUG 3'3'' X 5': The ivory field of this rug is contrasted with a striking dark blue diamond shaped central medallion that has a saw-toothed edge. Spandrels that come out from each end have two parts, a six-sided medallion with a water bug design in the center, and a second part that looks like a lamp or a stylized tree. The rugs field and the salmon colored corners also have a scattering of many small various shaped and colored motifs. The borders have a paler salmon or light blue grounds. CONDITION: This rug is evenly low all over and the ends are missing a little with little fringe. |

Small flowering trees are at each end of the field and star motifs go around the edge of the field. The three even size borders are like red or white squares that are linked in a chain that goes all around the rug.
