1254 Click for larger picture APPROX 20-40 YR OLD INDO-PERSIAN HAND KNOTTED WOOL RUG, 4'5'' X 6'8'': A dark blue/white diamond shaped central medallion with spandrels at each end rests on a red field with two tone blue corners. The field is further covered with sprays and clusters of pale blue, white, yellow, and red flowers. The dark blue main border completes the design.
CONDITION: Condition good with some color fade.

1260 Click for larger picture APPROX 15-35 YR OLD PAKISTANI-PERSIAN HAND KNOTTED SILK RUG, 2'10'' X 4'2'': A variant on a Persian hunt scene pattern, this rug has deer, leopards, and lions chasing past flowers and palmettes on the salmon colored field. They go around the black, grey, white, and gold colored central medallion with its matching spandrels. The pale gold corners have pairs of birds in blue and white. The gold guard borders and black ground main border complete the design of the rug.
CONDITION: This rug is in good condition.

The red, camel, and blue guard borders and the beige and blue main border also have traditional Serbs motifs.
CONDITION: There is some visible wear in the center of the field and the fringes are basically gone but the rug still has a good look.
