CABINET GRAND PLAYER PIANO: This Sohmer & Co. uptight Cabinet Grand piano has 1 beveled oval glass under the keys, which exposes the 2 drums and tambourine, another beveled glass above the keys that exposes the xylophone, symbol, and timber drum. The top compartment lights up. Empire style construction with subtly carved scrolling and stylized flowers. Also includes 5 extra player rolls. Approx. 54'' h x 63'' l x 28'' w.
CONDITION: Currently playing well but not guaranteed to continue which is our standard caveat with all mechanical items sold at Burchard Galleries. Front panel secured with L brackets. Wear appropriate for age and use.

1102 Click for larger picture 18K EGYPTIAN REVIVAL NECKLACE CA 1860: This extraordinary necklace has been dated to Napoleon III Ca 1860, the beginning of the ''Grand Period''. Very well marked on the left leg, the jump ring, spring ring and the back. 76 square, rectangle and cabochon native cut emeralds are featured in this unusual piece and 8 oval and round native cut sapphires and rubies and 14 irregular shaped rose cut diamonds provide the contrast. Total gem weight approx 4.12 CTW. Gems are bezel, knife and bead set. 48 irregular shaped pearls outline the winged scarab motif pendant. French hallmarks on scarab and chain. 22'' in length. Triangles of colors form diamonds down the center of the field. The sides have different rectangular patterns but with the same colors.
