TAYLOR, Robert, (British 1946-) JV 44 Print 53/1000: A rare sold out lithograph depicting a trio of Messerschmitt Me-262 jet fighters of JV-44 soaring past clouds in the dusk above Germany's Ruhr Valley. The German Squadron that flew the Me-262 were known as ''The Squadron of Experts.'' Only the most experienced and highly decorated pilots flew this jet which was the first jet ever used in a war. Signed by Luftwaffe Aces and Me-262 pilots General Adolf Galland, Johannes Steinhoff, Walter Krupinski, and Herbert Kaiser. Also signed by artist Robert Taylor. Low edition number 53/1000.
